So I've got a frontroom ive got to take back to brickwork float in hardwall and reskim whole room but I'm doing it over a couple off weekend , question is my mate thinks I can do the ceiling before hardwalling the walls surely I will get a crack around the internal as there is no coving going up

Tie it in with hessian old school method it will never crack . Or 100mm fibre tape

I knew i would get a few smart arse comments haha yes I am a plasterer 1 I won't be leave the floating for a week duck that for a laugh it will be getting skimmed the same day ive just done the stairwell drop in his hall stairs and landing and it come up lovely flat as anything I would normally scrim the internal I was only asking as my mates a plasterer and he said you don't need to plan was to hack off and skim ceilin first weekend but don't want a crack on the internal

You honestly think a bit of flimsy scrim will stop it cracking???

My customer has a nasty 4inch crack that needs filling, I said Monday, I'll dub it out in the morning, then fill it up flush in the afternoon.
