Self fulfilling prophecy type thingy

I got out of plastering back in 89 and has rendered ever since but recently had a semi to re-skim. My trowels are a 11” & 13” Ox stainless.

I had a lad give me a hand for a day and he troweled up with a flexi trowel stainless, he reckons it takes out the effort out of troweling up, is he right?

I quit plastering for several reasons but a wrist injury has stopped me coming back full time as it flares up but for the odd day I will consider now I am semi retired. Anything for less strain on the wrist, skimming does it Hard wall is no problem.

Flexis will take strain off the wrist but they’re only for the last trowel, they can ride over bumps if used too early

It is that last troweling what takes pressure so it may be of benefit to me, thanks.

Hope you’re well John. They’re definitely less harsh on the wrist but most of the pushing is done with a normal trowel. I use them for finishing and that’s it.

Day 1. Seems a nice trowel, needs breaking in a bit...
Day 2. Getting there, nearly broken in, troweling up nice..
Day 3. Dropped the trowel...feked.
Reminds me of something that happened to me a while back
Day 1- bumped into this bird
Day 2- we went out for some drinks
Day 3- I shagged the life out of her
Day 4-5-6 Carried on shagging the life outta her
Day 7- I was f**k*d so had to chill out
Oh hang on, no that didn’t happen I think it was a song I’ve heard
