It's main use was envisaged to be for overskims where a clout would bost corners off. nothing wrong with using gear but this option takes less skill so may save on labour costs. The guys who have trialled it are finding loads of different uses. fixing shadow beads on metal studwork instead of screwing which leaves a protruding screw head. fitting beads to carrier boards, fitting beads to insulation board around Velux windows, the list goes on.
Just chirping , had my samples , many thanks, used them on pocket doors down a hallway i have just done, all metal stud and wobbly as fook,
could of stuck with gear=yes, but it meant first hit was straight on from the get go
i'm oldskool but forward thinking, f**k**g handy stuff to have stashed in the van- also works on them dreaded velux windows that have no noggins around the sunshine reveals .

Goad tapit all day long, but at least he has done more than most , and everyone starts somewhere

I’ve been sent some. Cheers @tapit. Not had chance to use it yet but there’s definitely a place for this tape. Keep it in your tool box for the awkward s&c jobs that won’t take staples. Less hassle than knocking a little mix up to bed beads on.
Should get to use it next week so will report back.

You're not going to convince me that it'll be as good as Sticks Like s**t for such applications.

It is faster, cleaner, stronger, bit like @Casper van and you have no chance of making a mess on Mrs Jones carpet.
Cleaner I'll accept, but I'd rather hope that Mrs Jones carpet was covered ready for plastering. Faster, only if you're not going to use the equivalent number of fixing points. Stronger, not a hope in hell. I wouldn't want to try and remove a bead stuck on with Sticks Like s**t Turbo.

Beadfix tape is tailor made for fitting beads unlike tube adhesives.
It is not messy in use and there is no waste or excess to be removed.
It is comparable in price if not cheaper.
It does not require special application tools.
It is instantaneous which means no waiting for drying or chemical reaction
Most importantly it is stress free, all other adhesives create stress in the joint while changing state.
Peel It, Stick, Skim. Piece of PISS.
PS (Tape is used at 600mm centres, same as BS for mechanical fixing of beads)

All other forms of fixing cause stress? Sticks like s**t, multi, dab? Don't think so

£12.99 for 108 strips on a roll, if using for thin coat beads the strips can be cut in half again to fix 21 beads @2.4m.
Does it have to be on a roll, could it be a pack of strips which you peel of a strip to expose the adhesive side.

By the end of this year you will buy be able to buy it everywhere Hobo .

Yes they do mate as they change from a liquid state to a solid. Adhesive tape stays constant.
So does the skim stress the bead when its plastered over? Jesus wept this gets better by the day.

So nine standard 1200x1200 windows @ £1.44 per window and you've had to cut the strips in half. That's using the minimum number of fixing points that I'd use.

How much would it cost to staple 9 windows. A quid? And it's a hell of a lot quicker I bet too. The money you save could be spent on some counselling for the bead after you've put it under stress by stapling it
