IMO... All the trades of this country need to pull together now and cease work in all occupied domestic settings for the foreseeable or put all work on hold for January at the very least!

I’ve now recently heard of a sparky, plumber and kitchen fitter that I know who have all tested positive for covid.

i will return to work as soon as it stops raining down here in Essex.
i will be working on my own , rendering with bagged materials. nice easy days!

We have a mandate to work trafesman are allowed in residential propertys.

I think it should only be emergency trades personally and not mts jones bedroom reskim but hey ho
It was exactly same 1st lockdown the mandate is the same so if you moaned about people scabbing then and ur scabbing now whats difference.down tools

I'm under pressure from wife to stop and it's looking like I will for the foreseeable. I hope the criteria for 3rd grant will change to allow us to do the right thing.

From what I have seen its business as usual for those that can't work from home?
Builders merchants are open and trades are still allowed to work in a domestic and site setting but would you say it’s ok to be in and out of domestic’s at the moment??

I dont..you should have enough put away and with everything thats been given already thats enough
I take it you've put your customers back then? How long have you delayed them? I'm thinking a provisional re-start date of Feb 1st .

I’m in the middle of the job so just finishing it tomorrow then I think I’ll down tools an rebook work feb. More an more people I know are getting Covid unlike before you didn’t know anyone close to home.. really Is a roll of the dice to how bad you get it ?
