I've looked it up . So the coins are imaginary. So is your wallet. Martin lewis might be a t**t.. But he's a multimillionaire. He says avoid it . Lots of people have lost all there money. It's not policed. There's a boozer in hackney that lets you pay with them. Don't know how. It's a big gamble.

Exactly.

To each, his/her own, and gambling is anyone's right in a free society, but I am in no doubt that crypto is, at this point in time, gambling, just as stocks, derivatives & futures are.

It was only 20-something yrs ago that every man & his dog was getting caught up in the frenzy of unscrupulously-promoted investments in 'dot.com' - and what was it? An IDEA that digital activity in ones & zeros had intrinsic, bankable value. To those in every generation with a shortsighted 'get-rich-quick' mentality, it all seemed so legitimate and with the potential for infinite growth, but what happened? The emperor turned out to be wearing no clothes, after all.

Oh, what a big 'surprise'...

History repeats itself in cycles, and people don't fkn learn from the past when they are tempted in the present.

And fiat currency is based on what ? a promise from a dodgy goverment ?

No, not from the government, but yes, a dodgy promise nonetheless.

So is the cash in your bank. Do you think somewhere in a branch of your bank there’s a pile of notes with your name above it? It’s just numbers on a screen

Nope, done with crypto money. I'm banking with Gringott's, they say they've got a dragon looking after heaps of gold. Used to have paper money but the dragon coughed and burnt it.

The pyramid warning looks just like some of the professional trade associations. The chimney sweeping ones took the entry fees and allowed so many members that rates fell thru' the floor. The brighter legal and accountancy ones cleverly limited their numbers by ascending steps of impossible exams, therteby keepin gup their rates. BG & schools please take note...?
