Tapit tape external render review

It was only the one reveal that I was playing around with that was damp the two videos with the stop beads were dry
it had been raining for a week and torrential the day before, if it was dry it would have stuck.
no matter as a direct result of it not sticking to wet surfaces my post on another site has took it to another level

Thing is your trying to hit site market which means mass production and you can buy 5000 staples for about £6 hahaha..which can staple how many beads? Hahaha ull be lucky to shift 50 rolls per year hahahaha

Sunny weather tape. I like it. Although not to hot as it may not come off the backing. Mild weather tape?

if it was about cost site skimmers would use gear which is supplied free.

As a side note why dont you send out free samples to all those on here that would be happy to provide you with some honest feedback, as tom has demonstrated.
In the long run it could save you a fortune mate

Same here, box lasts a couple of years.

Have you tried this stuff?

Yeah use it all the time on insulated boards and tin studs. Or if I’ve not stuck boards and the dabs are awol. s**t scrim to that falls off by the time you’ve mixed, give it a blast of that. I literally can’t see me buy any of titheads tape. Unless @algeeman invented it first. I’d buy loads.:numberone:

How long are the rolls? 25m? Need to be about £3 plus vat. It’s no quicker better or cheaper than all the alternatives out there. Render tape on the other hand is worth it’s money. The time saved in cleaning or the extra visits jet washing it pays for it self.

How long do you leave before pushing bead on?

If they’re floor to ceiling ones I measure, spray, cut then stick. Windows and doors, measure and cut the heads then spray first one will be ready to stick if you’ve a few in a room. I scrim down the bead on the dry edge to.

Staples, roof nails, various tube adhesives, scrim. and now carpet glue.
BEADFIX is the only fixing made specifically for fitting beads and from the comments it is obvious the problem needed addressing, Carpet spray? i thought i had heard it all, any of you time served old pros use carpet spray or is it just @Topspread16 ?

That’s the problem, tape to just fix beads at £10 for 25m. It’s just not needed, just waiting on this coroner’s report for this horse. It’s sadly got shot because nobody would back it.

Manufacturer recommends 3 to 5 mins for solvent to evaporate before sticking. it is not suitable for use below 15c , i guess that rules out a lot of site work.
It is also highly flammable and overspray leaves a sticky residue.
Use in well ventilated areas and keep out of reach of children.
But its only about £4 a tin! Cheap you want cheap you can get.
I prefer a quality product for quality work but we are all different.
