It will be about 45 degree. Was thinking of edge need and opening it up to 45.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Mark

New curved trowel as i mentioned on another thread but can't remember which one.

As jess said knock it back a foot or so either side and fill in, fill one side and as its taking up scrape back any over spill so its at the same thickness as the original plaster. Then repeat on the other side of the angle, you could use a straight edge to get an nice sharp angle. I just wait till its taken up and scrape it back, it leaves a good enough angle to skim to free hand, ie no bead.

Honestly, what is going on in this place

Thanks chaps I go with @madmonk seems easyer and less hassle
One thing with with edge bead just use a corner and open it out slightly as won't be a 90 corner.
Thanks again
Mark

Fook me knock off..could form that free hand with bonding as nath said literally half a hardboard of bonding and would take 10mins.put fresh skim angle bead on then skim away or patch in whatever ur desire.can we please not having people discuss prices on here amongst fellow spreads as theres clearly leagues on this place ffs haha

Forming it over the top is a great solution.

People making it out like knocking it off is the crazed idea of an asylum inmate.....

the curve is big at the top. It’s massively uneven. It’s the sort of thing easier to judge when you are in front of it.

knocking it off means you aren’t bringing it further out by what could be a fair amount looking at the disparity.

the only person standing in front of it is @Markyuk , with a trusty level in his hand, armed with two solutions

Get back to your sink. Absolutely clueless.

There probably is different ways to skin a cat. But if i really really had to do it and was handed the choice of either a knife or a spoon, I'd probably choose the knife

What if it was a special spoon (like your face?) that was better to peel away the skin without damaging the pelt etc. Harder work and not as easy as using the knife but possibly a better outcome?

is this where we put in a disclaimer about skinning animals before Danny bans the word ***?

Its not a special spoon. Its a plastic disposable spoon that snaps instantly, you know the kind, the ones tight people give you at bbqs and the like when they can't be bothered to wash up

Now look what you've done

No it’s a special spoon. It’s an indestructible spoon, you know the kind, the ones you can squeeze 80 teabags on the side of your mug with and it never over heats and bends. Not even a twinge

Spray expanding foam on it and use a saw to cut it square.

It's what @Casper would do and he's a fukking amazing spread.

He says.

That's actually a better idea than Jess's.
I'd bond-it the corner and shutter it with no level to connect the top and bottom. Preserve the skirting line and f**k the plumb

Fill with bonding

Remove shutter

Fill behind

Skim as normal

But no doubt that's because I'm a knobhead
