So many places to visit, will keep me busy for life.

My plans for doing an overnighter last night didn't materialise and tbf, I felt ridiculously tired when I got in and dozed off for a couple of hours :)
Went out for a meal instead.
Thinking of going Monday now!

This is right on my doorstep and drive past it everyday.

Never fished it as you need a yearly ticket and tbf, not the type of water I would usually be attracted to, but now I'm a bit more geared up, I'm getting tempted.

Its a stunning lake, approx 13 acres with the dam wall right on the roadside. I don't think there is a massive head of carp in there, but guys I have talked to say that the lumps that are in there are pristine and worth the effort to catch them.

Ive all ways fished rivers , could never get into lake fishing , i tried carp fishing , but i just found it to be a bit busy where ever i went , even club waters , so ended up just doing weekenders on rivers around the country , then my kids came along and couldnt spend the time or money on fishing anymore so gave up around 10 years ago .

You're welcome to come over as my guest for a session mate.
Might be better to leave it until next spring or summer though.

Friend of mine watched the bob and paul series on tv , and wants to go fishing ( his never fished before ) but likes the idea of being in the countryside and nature , so ive agreed to take him too the river Wensum for a weekend next summer ( covid allowing ) . Have a look at " The bridge pub at Lenwade " , they have a b&b thing with a half mile stretch of river , should be ok if otters havent killed it .

The Wensum has been severely affected by otters for many years, but I believe it has made a bit of a comeback.
