Hi all just wondering if anyone can help with a small damp patch that seems to have arose with all the bad weather we have been getting.
house is an Victorian terrace with a gable end.
brick and pointing from the outside looks ok and nothing would suggest it’s getting in from that way. The patch is on the ground floor and there doesn’t seem to be any damp patches anywhere else. With the house being old it does suffer a little from condensation, could this be the problem or would I see these type of patches throughout? Could it be getting in from the roof and the fact that these old houses don’t have a cavity could be tracing across? But then maybe I would expect it to be other patches?
Any advice is much appreciated
