Is this a job well done?

Hi all,

I was sent these pictures by a client yesterday looking for a quote for decorating and was hoping for some feedback on this plastering please?

Positive and negative feedback welcome...

Why would you need a second opinion as your giving a quote for decorating ?

I think you should try harder with your fake posts , 4/10

Hmm, strange reply.

Didn’t think I’d have to justify my post... I’m simply trying to understand whether the client should have the room re-plastered before decorating as the amount of work needed on the plaster... well the pictures speak for themselves.

Just getting a second opinion other than mine to pass on!

Thanks all for your replies!

No offense mate , just seemed bizarrely obvious

At least!

I think you may have stumbled upon the truth, there.

No (professional) decorator would need to ask if an obvious dog turd looks & smells like a dog turd, in order to decide whether they can polish it, paint it, pour glitter on it, or run away before they step in something they wish they hadn't.

Are you accusing one of our regular members ( who has a reputation for dognapping and may have taken hallucinative substances resulting in turd decoration in time for Xmas tree hangings ) of posting this thread under an alias

'Who' didn't cross my mind.

But 'WTF??' did cross my mind.

Let me put it another way.

No sane person would walk down the street, encounter a dog turd on the pavement, and then feel the need to ask passers-by if they thought the turd looked and smelled like a turd, in order to come to a decision about whether or not it would be wise to go ahead and step in it.

I'll leave it to you to decide who might be insane enough for that, but you're probably right that there are some worthy candidates on TPF (or perhaps the plumbers forum?) :coffe:

What the f**k renovating is it you do that you're on here asking questions like that?

I think you're a bluffing c**t who just picked up a paintbrush one day and announced that you do renovating work now.
