Got a pair of stilts given too me today by another plasterer that couldn't get the hang of them. Used them for a small ceiling this morning and could definitely see myself using them alot, only problem I have with them is the top strap didnt feel tight enough (probably my daft skinny legs) and was wondering if anyone could recommend decent straps to replace these with?

Are you still enjoying using stilts?

Yes, finding I'm getting alot more time working on larger areas rather than moving hops ups and batons about. Managed to get decent straps from b and q and just took it from there. Not 100% confident in using them above 8 foot ceiling just yet though.

Have you got a link to the straps you bought? I'm after some that don't cripple my legs.
