Would you do it again?.

I was offered the chance to take my small business (5-10 guys) to a whole new level. It would have required me to have 130 guys.
I turned it down in a second. The guys that made the offer nearly fell over. They suggested I take my time before giving a final answer.
I said that I didn't need any more time as I.d never get ti go fishing

Yes I would have made an awful lot of money, but probably been dead from stress before having time to enjoy it.

Most I had was 22 guys, run me ragged all over the country but tax man loved me
Hardest part in this game imo is the fekin staff ! Chose life ! If wanted to be a rich spiv I'd have been a mechanic or solicitor !

I often look back at the realistic crossroads in my life so far...... actress/model or plasterer was a biggie

..... but standing in a grow bag didn’t work and I found it hard to turn down the calories in beer so... :birra:
Are you trying to tell us that you are a fat midget Jessica?..............asking for a friend.

My uncle was sparks, best mate also a sparks, used to share the guys between jobs to keep them busy. John decided to step change and go big in business, but stress caused massive health problems early heart attack. He did get to retire rich but was fckd, and died early.
Uncle is way past 80, fit as f**k and very happy. Made enough to retire very comfortably and spend 1/2 year somewhere sunny.
At 80 he was still climbing onto his house roof & along the ridge to sweep his stove chimney, told him to quit that and call me instead - never called.

Yes, but I’m a grafter in whatever I do, plastering is quite easy. I’ve had the advantage of doing probably over 30 different jobs in my time (some very short - driver for Securicor where I reversed a big truck into another in the depot, jumped out and ran off down the road). Plastering suits me down to the ground - I can call people cnuts all day if they piss me off and they just expect that from a spread...win win for me :)
