Same as usual Hector while there is negative fucks predicting the end of the world there are positive people looking for opportunities. Which side are you on?
oh without a doubt freed, i am in the positive camp, i seem to be the only one on this forum that is saying about the realities of this virus, i truly truly wish i was wrong, and i sincerely hope that i am wrong,..... but you know as well as i do i am right unfourtanetly

Oak furniture land

Good riddance
I've never seen more than 2 people in a store..like ever in my life so why does it now surprise people that there cutting jobs
both of you are right, but the point is it does not matter who the company is, or the product it sells, yet another company is closing stores/people losing there jobs etc marks and spencer, halfords in recent weeks , who this week ,next week

It's becoming a Monday thing lol.
.@hector I.ve worked in hospitals through this and lads there said it's not been chaos . I never even got give a face mask . Just walked in and out as I pleased.
i do not doubt one word you are saying john,. but the chaos will arrive,

imagine next season going to anfield/stamford bridge/st.james park/hillsborough, large grounds and packed out, everybody in close proximity , and the bloke behind you is coughing sneezing, its hard to shout and cheer your team on wearing a mask, can football clubs go another season with lost income, how are they going to deal with this

just type his name in rossi, and read his wikopedia page, this is a very respected intelligent scientist ,
Yeah well respected, blew the figures up to keep us all under control and in fear and then was caught sneaking around in lockdown with his pants down.

Business are changing the terms in which they engage with is and blaming covid.
Business who are refusing cash ie wickes, toolstation sceewfix etc are saving on banking services , saving time on prepping tills, floats, saving on tills getting dipped by staff and saving on the likelihood of being robbed for cash....suits them to blame covid as b and q will take cash.go figure???
Spoke to staff in maccies and subway and they admit business is booming just on drive through and delivering....they don't want to provide counter service or seating for the reasons above. Same profits with 1/3 less staff...no one to clear up after,no gangs of kids hanging around causing problems for them...
Its so obvious whats going on. Business want to deal with you offsite

toolstation was always a favourite for me.wont go there now queing up in the rain and being served outside from the front door like a leper .no free coffee machine...no thanks

Tbf some good points there @windy i notices same , i also get where @hector is coming from the world has changed thank goodness we are in one of the ok sectors of work though
Atm I’m touring in caravan and trying to spend money out at places that are trying to work , pubs and local shops , the pubs round here have all sorted there own apps to book and pay for drinks and food tbf it’s actually a better experience eating out this way no messing about and everyone is far enough away ,in Weymouth they have turned the road into restaurant seating areas by completely shutting down the road to cars which I think is brilliant idea for all the restaurants down the harbour side

new clusters of virus in germany, 2nd wave german goverment fears,....parts of australia in lockdown,...new cases appearing in countries world wide,.......goverments worldwide and who , fear second wave is here now, .....only a matter of time before it lands here, and lockdown is back,.......as i have said before this is going to get much much worse, and this will be with us for years,....meanwhile oak furniture land are the latest company to announce store closures, 27 stores to close, recession is starting to take effect now, matter of time before sites close down,.......there is a virus out there our conspiracy freinds ,when and what will it take for you to start believing this, once again read good articles in serious newspapers and magazines ,written by respected award winning journalists, but better still go and visit your local hospitals/ meet and talk to doctors and nurses/ask them questions, these are the people you need to listen to.
Park life.

I have not changed my mind it has just re confirmed my original doubts....

When this recession hits it is going to hit so hard.... and all those who got furloughed and were clapping and telling everybody to stay home will be regretting it as they will be hit the hardest...

The death toll is still low and the risk is still low... the risk of catching is low and the risk of dieing is so low for me there is more chance of being killed by a pigeon.

The economy is totalled and that will kill more than this virus.... if you are bored samaritans will need more staff I am sure of it.
