Has anyone used rightfinish skim coat before? Got a bathroom next week and the customer has got 4 bags of it, as I cant get any gold dust.

It is terrible I’ve used it , add two hours to your finish time because it takes an age to set , it doesn’t like any thickness and will stay wet forever on beads and joints need laying in first on those areas, It’s possible to get a decent finish but the extra time and effort is painful also it smells and feels like easy fill
Not a lot right with it tbh

Ffs, not looking forward to it now, thanks mate haha.

After using it my tip would be to put on thinner than multi I wish I did anyway, also at one stage even though it is really wet it tears if water is not used , areas will dry after forever but areas bang on next to it will be as wet as you put on,
I ain’t touching it again for sure

The things lads do for money,il guarantee the customer who has bought you rightfinish will be the 1st one to pull u up on shoddy work and if you say back well I don't normally use there will just say well you shouldn't of done the job.just beggers belief

I've already pre warned him I've never used it and heard bad reviews on it, he basically said just use it but in other words.

Just get him to sign a disclaimer so he can’t refuse to pay the bill mate.
Thankfully I think it's getting 3 quarter tiled, his bro is apparently a plasterer but won't use him because he skims all the windows aswell, (alarm bells rang) I spoke to a sparky on site who's his son in law, apparently his bro is a fireman and does the odd builds here n there :ROFLMAO:
