I'm sure this a common problem with us vertically gifted individuals I need to find a work platform that's 300mm high. I can't find anything i don't want a stool I already have one and I can't use stilts and don't wanna buy them I'll probably just end up on my arse staring at the ceiling instead any ideas?

I got a small one from bnq that's about 300 but not very long

350 - 500 mm high. Can be joined. Bit taller than you wanted though

Ezy-Hopup

I also have 10 of these with planks. £5 each at ikea... They stack to... I'm 6 foot and most platforms are too tall for me...not very pro though but worked for years

Have you used the ezy-hop I know there quite expensive but if they are worth it I don't mind paying it to save my back on ceilings that are slightly to high to do off the floor but to low to stand on a hop up

See you coming but this meets your spec.. 300mm high platform

I honestly don't understand how you can buy a 490mm hop up for 20 quid but you want a shorter one and you may aswell cut your legs off at the knees seems the cheaper option

The plastic stilts that Danny featured are 300mm and are the dogs. I would never use strap on stilts as I would fall off them. After one ceiling I was away, be lost without them now.

Me too
Need good shoes and get straps tight and your good to work. . Could of done with them years ago.. Walk tall is the brand..I can't use stilts. Tried. Too tall and I felt unsafe. Also hurt to ware

@Isthisright?

You can buy any platform and cut legs off to length. I done that myself. I then used some nuts and bolts to fix wood baton on to act as feet along the inside of legs. Won't let you use on sites though I'd guess. That platform that's 300mm high is a proper pro one. If it's right for you then you will get your monies worth out of it many times over

@Wayners i think I may invest in one as I'm sick to death either dragging my head through a ceiling or over straining... I've gotta have something descent as I work on sites

Cut the legs to your required size on a platform

Cutting legs off is difficult to get correct angle and razer sharp aluminium. You can't get the original feet to attach back on either with any great success
