Another competitor for Multi finish to deal with. Although I think you can still get it in Northern Ireland, first time I've seen it for sale in the UK, although a little on the pricey side. Anybody used it in the past?

with all respect are you northern or southern Ireland

not the reply I was looking for but that's life I just cant understand why its for sale in Ireland but not uk if you ask BG they say they don't make it any more
Its always been on sale in NI, Google Carlite and all the stockists are based in NI. As far as I know it used to be on sale here but then Multi took over. As of Wed Walls and Ceilings limited are now stocking it.

We use it all the time here. It's better than multi.

It was only any good on Browning. There's not a lot of Hardwall work these days so I can't see it being of much use. Unless it's just Multifinish under an old name, so as not to confuse them over there?
you ever used it on board andy

Never tried it. For those that say it’s better, what’s better about it?
Nicer to use. Not as rubbery. (unless You get bad batch, probably storage issues etc) generally trowels up nicer, in my opinion anyways, most the lads Ive worked with dotn like multi compared to it.

if you saw my red eyes in earlier photo tonight you should see them now @ChrispyUK

missed the pic Norm. Have online quiz religiously every Sunday eve since lockdown started. Good laugh, but usually knackered about 7 and could quite easily curl into a ball and go to sleep. Drink through it though and get my legs again about 9.3 for a couple of hours.

Sounds like Multifinish just with a different name.
Is it super snotty when you mix it up?
No mate it's creamy when it's mixed up. Nah multi is rubbery compared to it. Do. Get bad batch now and again which can be a c**t but most of it seems nicer than multi. I don't mind multi myself it's alright like but I'd rather have that stuff.
