I’ve seen them hold up sheets of ply ,
Put 3/4 down each side will be strong enough

theyll hold it ok, im just thinking its more of a lightweight panel thing and in the wind or with repeated use they might snap but you could well be right and theyll last ok (y)

Yea no u could well be right too, fence
Panel could swell and make it hard to lift off , I used them
On mine with no problem , but it’s only a 2 ft wide infill

bit off topic but if you ever fancy a back to wall bog thing use a bnq wall unit and a door and drawer pack and them fixings.... works a treat and you can link a whole load of em together and make a complete washroom with inset sinks the lot... saves a fortune

Just buy a f**k**g gate and glue a fence panel on
actually not a bad idea if hes using feather edge panels for the fence... easy enough to clad a gate with featheredge... easy enough to make the gate come to it...

I’ve got a few wall hung pans , I prefer to use the geberit frame or other brackets, to much risk of it moving once it’s closed in to mess about , I like the right things that are made for the job in hand

yeh wall hung come with the frame... you wouldnt wanna fat mamma sitting on a pan hung on lil plastic brackets

back to the topic in hand though.... what about the gravel board? if hes using concrete gravel boards... what then?

Ah yeah... that was going to be my next compromise I will have to use timber ones here :-( so I can slide that out....

I did that fence 2 years ago :) I like concrete posts :)

bit harder to use as a hidden gate as you got the face side on your side. How are your ladies doing, mine are getting very busy, need to inspect again and the out apiary & think about splits before they swarm.

You could match the kick board in timber and paint match the grey concrete kick board, to the untrained eye no one will know .

mill get a pic tomorrow, it was raining here

Turn a H post into a h shape by cutting off one grove edge. Fix panel in and will be easy to remove and won't look any different from the outside passers by. Make fixing up to hold in place and buy quality panel for strength
This is so simple it's genius

spot on mate they aint gonna rot out and featheredge panels a lot stronger than waney edge lap panels (y)
most people dont wanna pay the extra though, we usually end up doing 3m post and rail featheredge on a 6" timber gravel board as best compromise
