£300 for a hallstairs landing is cheap anywhere in the UK,my starting price just for a re-skim is £600 it rises when there's other factors at play aswell

Good job or bad job irrelevant if you have an issue with the man sort it out.

Waits a year and then comes on here slagging him off like a little girl!
Just wanting some money back..the price is a massive relevant zombie..£300 and I'm assuming that includes materials..cracking job from a d.i.y spread

my lights are more powerful than led lights.

I dont shine them directly across the walls/
ceilings

I skim more
than anyone i know
luxury units to social housing

I could find a fault in any type of plastering on any plasterer shining a light directly down there works ....

that's basic plastering.
Good for you.

Oh yeah?
I gave him quite a while to sort it out actually if you care to read which you clearly haven't. Heres some screenshots of 2 weeks after his job if you don't believe me.
I was also was on the phone to him several times.
I gave him far too long thats my problem.

first pic a fuucking LED light

cuunts trick
You joking? It's a big f**k**g lump on the wall and a internal 'corner' that looks more like a cliff. You didn't even need an LED light to see it. Majority of they pictures it was day light.

Lol I'm looking for some money back? I've got more chance of winning the lottery mate. If a plasterer can't do a good job for a certain price then dont f**k**g quote it. I've been told no decent plasterer would be happy with their name on that job.

Hall stairs and landing :frenetico: and then asking why it's a bad job..god knows if he supplied the gear aswell,I think hes got a decent job at that price

I hear you but would you be happy with your name on that job regardless of the price? I always got told to get 3 quotes on any work and the most expensive was £450 for the plastering. Either I was really unlucky and got 3 quotes from cowboys, or that is the going rate in my area. The plasterer who re-skimmed it for me done it for slightly less. Maybe he felt bad that I was left with this, but he didn't think £300 for a days work was charity price.

What lights do you use out of interest ?

So why feel the need a year down the line once you've already had it refixed to come on here and put screen shots of your conversations etc?

How old are you 10?

Ps I would delete that if I was you it has your mobile number on!

I just dont understand this post he doesnt need us to tell him its s**t, hes already before coming on here had it reskimmed.

So what is his gain apart from to bitch, which as I say is acting like a little girl.

Just man up and sort it with him direct!

You're right it's weird putting screenshots up, but you kind of need to on here. People seem to accuse you of everything before knowing all the facts.

Hopefully to help stop a dodgy tradesman from gaining more customers? I'm sure I'm not the first to have a bad plasterer in their house. I dont have any possible monetary gain from it, you're right, but hopefully it helps even one person to avoid what I've had to deal with. Regardless of price there shouldn't be these type of plasterers in the trade. I'm not a plasterer but I'd have thought you would have appreciated anyone helping to weed them out, but I guess not.

Someone reskimmed the whole lot in a day??

It did look s**t but as has been said shining a light down anyone's plastering will make it look awful, I try to not do it any more unless I'm trying to wind myself up.

£300 is dirt cheap too, £500+ all day long.

2 days, and I agree if you look for problems you'll find them but you really didn't even need to shine any light on it to he honest. Natural daylight was enough. Lesson learned I suppose. I'll know prices next time, but its frightening to think these sort of 'plasterers' exist regardless of how much they charge.
