So how are you keeping fit?

Run if you can...probably the most natural exercise, we were designed to do it
Trying to keep up with a 10k run 3 or 4 times a week. That and chasing my kid around on her bike in case she falls off and bouncing on a trampoline for a couple of hours a day should keep me reasonably healthy.

I've always tried to convince myself that carrying a few bags and slapping some on the walls keeps you fit. It most certainly doesn't

It does to a degree.
The fact your up about and moving as opposed to hunched or slouching in an office chair is beneficial, as long as your not overdoing it.

Stamina fit though, that's a different thing altogether.
Jumping up a notch, especially at 10k runs.

Most people find stuffed birds and animals a weird thing to have in your home. Personally I think of them more like a 3d picture. I love nature, would rather watch a live creature but can admire their beauty once preserved.
I've got a beauty of a cased pike.
I was gifted a stuffed small crocodile when I was a kid off my godfather who only had one hand lol pretty weird I thought.

S'funny how conversations can drift - from fitness to stuffed crocodiles, who'd a thought it.

Aside on the original question - shocked, weighed last night, miissus has put on half a stone and I've put on a fckng stone is just a few weeks. Not happy, thoiught I was doing ok.

Back on the questions of crocodiles now...I wouldn't think of a can of worms as bait for a crocodiles in your lake, you're a canny fisherman

It's not going to help you run 10k, is it?

Running 10k is what you need to help you get better at running 10k.

Actually, there's a bit more to it than that but not to worry.

It's all relative. I've seen big lifters cutting and they couldn't throw 2kg around like experienced girls can - just a completely different type of fitness.

There's a video on YouTube of some big super fit boxer having a go at P Coy. The paras absolutely wasted him.

I'll look now.

It's too easy to sit and eat, and be lardy & weak as a kitten by the time we're allowed to work again. Gets harder to get it back as you age too. So what are folks doing to keep fit and a keep a bit of muscle on.?
I'm building a shed and using a short scaffold pole for shoulder and overhead press exercises.
It's really hard to stay fit to be true, whenever i try to lose weight..i eventually ended up in gaining weight, I'll try personal trainer now for losing weight
