Help - My worker has skimmed using Easi-filler

The obvious solution, if you don’t want to fork out for it, is to, if you haven’t got any yourself, borrow a couple of disabled kids, and contact Nick Knowles. You’ll have it done in no time, and might get a trip to Disneyland thrown in.

And some more pics
Well, in all my years I've never seen anything like that. Get quotes off reputable plasters and ask for a price to skim it all. Then deduct that from the companies bill, along with a chunk extra for the hassel it's caused you.

The only thing that would worry me is if they've done something that shoddy and lied to you that it's some new technique then how good is the boarding? Put a straight edge (straight piece of wood or metal) on the wall and see if it's level.

Not much shocks me what cowboys do but that has

I like the feature in between the sockets. Is that European too?
Has he done the whole house like this?
It can be rectified, but it’s going to cost you.

Haha tell me about it!
Unfortunately yes they have from the loft to the bedrooms to the living room (minus the bathroom walls and kitchen as still planning layout etc). I even requested them not to complete any work in the bathroom yet they still decided to board and finish the ceiling with their "high-end" product!!

Lol DIY SOS... think I'll pass and see what this company have to say re. deducting from them for a full reskim as originally requested.

I just wanted to thank you all for the advice and comments.

How much did you pay? I have no idea on the size of rooms but if it's fairly standard you could be looking around £500 a room on average to rectify that.

Where you based? I’m sure someone on here will give you a quote @Ritch

Lol, to cut the story short, I was expecting a full reskim of the house and I am now left with easi-filler on all the walls and ceiling. The long essay is in relation to my worker marketing easi-filler and convincing me he has used a premium product.
You sure it wasnt board finish as that is white

It is a small 3 bed 1960's semi with a loft conversion. I am based in West Yorkshire.

When I hired this company, other plasterers quoted in the region of £4500 - 7000 (labour and materials) for insulating all the ceilings, boarding loft, patching up and making good any damaged walls and skimming whole house (including kitchen and bathroom). Also installing LED profile lighting in study room, loft and stairs.

Thank you that's good to know. On average how much should I pay for insulating all ceilings with Rockwool (minus the kitchen), boarding the ceilings and loft up with pink fire-rated plasterboards as well as putting in Kingspan in loft?

Knauf plasters, Thistle universal, Sigma plasters are all white.
this work sounds like an eastern european effort.

The director of this Ltd company is Lithuanian. His workers I think were a mixture of Czech, Hungarian, Lithuanian and maybe Greek/Cypriot.

Seen a polish guy in Bedford drylining a bathroom similar approach , when finished he was back next day with a large polishing machine and inadequate mask , 2 hrs later wasn't a bad job tbh

You got off light.

There was a crew like that in the paper a while back. He went on hols and left em the keys so the decided to live in his house for the job. They ate his food and supped his beer. One of them kipped in his bed and swamped it.

At most I'd say to insulate and board the ceilings and loft would be a week's work for plasterer and labourer. Even at £400 a day for the 2 guys would be 2k labour (depending how awkward the loft is.)

Are you sure its easi fill could be airless plaster
Would definitely make more sense with their claim it's the next big thing, but that definitely hasn't been sprayed on
