Yep , fill the tank with water you will have to hold it down with digger to be sure it doesn't start rising

I thought that I would need to fill it with water,
Will the concrete pouring just replace the water in the hole?

Yes push it out the top, dig a mall run off Chanel so it goes where you want

Normally you fill the tank as you go to help equalise the pressure on wall anyway , if you're pouring slow you may get away with pump to get water in hole to drain , I left water in tank for few days before pump out

I'm not f****** joking I'm shiting myself literally with no septic tank
I'm only a rough ass renderer something's bound to go wrong

Lol
Pour in 8" muck
Plonk tank in the hole ,
Fill it with water until it settles nice and straight and positioned central
Pieces of wood under forks and press gently to stop it floating
Add an extra ft of water in the tank above the water level on the outside and maintain it as you pour
Forks will stop it from floating , just pour evenly around the tank as best you can , use a length of 4x2 to check depth all around , once your past half way you don't have to be so fussy ,

Top man!
I think it will be the first bed of concrete that will be the problem as the hole will fill up so quick

if u have digger then put a land drain in on lowest point to move water on /don't empty tank again once filled with water through a dead sheep or similar in to start the process working
Cheers mate I've been told chukka dead hen in to start the process

I need.to.install one at my place in France next year..
Have had to get local approval of type and installation ( will be 2 visits)

We're buying a treatment plant with coconut husk inside with a pump as part of unit....

No need to dig up the whole garden with this one ...just hole for unit jand pipes to inlet
Just a 50mm a pipe to discharge via pump (as land going uphill slightly)
outflow....to a ditch as supposed to be 98 percent clean

Anyone installing one after the 2nd of January in the UK is required to have one of those treatment plants, that's why I'm trying to get mine done now
