I could write a book about south yorkshire police I despise the b*****d the most bent, corrupt organisation in England.

There wrotten to the core orgreave, hillsboro, grooming case etc every time they just lie and cover there backs and this comes from the very top.

I could tell you stories you wouldn't believe from the criminals involved with syp it's frightening.
I was there mate stuck in central pen got out to side pen ,the police froze in front of us !they treated us like animals .

My uncle was there too. I agree with zombie that mistakes happen. No one knew what was going to occur but it’s the covering it up, lies and corruption that shouldn’t be let to slide.

People need honesty and justice for those who lost their lives.

Sorry you went through that bud

@Bagrat , tried to send you a message but not able ,,

I apologize for any hurt you may have felt my comments have caused . I was aware that some of the members may have been directly or indirectly affected and my condolences for the tragedy are sincere ,
I hope you realised I was not attacking anyone , just defending in the interest of fair play

No need to apologise to me but please think what your saying about people pushing from the back ! I was in central pen got out at 2.20 then they let thousands in down the tunnel.hardly people pushing from back they were sent to there deaths .

As ignorant or arrogant he may appear , I see it as if he hadn't opened the gate and people had been injured he may have we'll still been in court yet those pushing and causing the problem are guilt free .
Hillsborough and Grenville are examples of my main gripe of a society that always wants to blame someone in office and I'm my opinion grief is an understandable main instergater but the press sensationalise this and are distorting public behaviour , we now have Nurses and doctors in the same position if someone's 80 year old grandad doesn't make it out of a major operation , it's not a good outlook for potential servants for our services
I think Hillsborough and Grenville are two very, very different things IMO.
Hillsborough; a fast moving situation with people making decisions on the hoof. One simple mistake costs lives.
Grenville; lots of planning and committee meetings with decisions ultimately driven by money. Some people should definitely be held accountable, but definitely not a bit of blame on the services attending the scene (decisions on the hoof again).
