Selco selling out of date multi

I've been using Bonding in my cottage today that went out of date in July. I dare say that the Multifinish and Hardwall I'll be using tomorrow will be similar.
Yee haa!

Drywall adhesive can be a c**t if it's out of date but as you said multi and bonding are usually ok

They are selling it as out of date. £2 a bag. Just seems a bit bad practice to me and a reflection on how the trades have deteriorated so badly.

So the question is @BritishGypsum what happens to skim when it’s past the use by date? If it’s still fine then why does it have a use by date.

hmm

Using out of date is certainly not recommended and if you do use it don’t expect that the plaster carries any guarantee.

I’m fully aware of your issues with BG, you are entitled to them, but then you complain that BG don’t interact with this forum. I’m trying to be helpful, not sure I can do much else.

It's a monopoly, and without any meaningful competition there's no imperative to improve your base products. Then it's a case of "innovation" to squeeze as much as you can out of a captive market.

It is a bag if plaster stop being pussies sort your s**t out or jack it in !
Begs the question Let’s hope nothing serious happens
