Anyone used this stuff yet? Thinking of getting some to try as I do a lot of patching in work so would be ideal (if it actually works). Just wana hear some opinions on it before I waste my money. Thanks.

Never understood the hot water approach once spread over a wall a few mm thick would lose its heat , just leave mix in the bucket if you want to cook ,

load of b*ll***s. Tried all of it. Rapid set. Loads of it. Take f**k**g ages. Dirty water flash sets in 10 mins any depth
I use dirty water and old MF , cement and gypsum certainly works but wouldn't chance it in skim

I use a trowel ful of post Crete in small sand and cement jobs . Cement. And dirty water in bonding is tried and tested.

how can you possibly say hot water doesn't work ???

it's set off the chemicals in skim so you can barely spread it.

easiest way couple of bags of good stuff leave in a garage /shed etc with top cut open then after a couple of months try a bit in a tub to see if ready once u start to use repeat process to keep cycle going . done this for a life time it works ,u can also try using allum but to much will kill the set

I.ve used it once by mistake . Really hot and it did nothing
really hot by mistake lol
good god.

many winters water pipes on site been frozen lads have took piping hot water out of canteen and toilets to set it faster.....

over mixing will send it off quicker because its creating to much heat.

I used to be chemical engineer john :numberone:
