Anybody have a stand alone tooltheft cover and if so who with, need it to cover tools being in van overnight and my public liability ppl do not offer this they have to be removed or the van has to be locked in a secure compound.

Finding this exceptionally difficult to get covered just wondering if any of you guys have this cover and if so who with.

Thanks for looking

Quicker to google it. When you insure your van it should ask if you want your tools covered as well.

Why bother, spreads have buckets of trowels that’s it really, you claim once your premiums go through the roof.
Exactly this. I could buy everything in my van for £500 I would of thought. By the time you pay the premium for the year then an excess I don't see any point

It’s all the drills etc must have over 2 grands worth in the van, big chunk of cash to find if they went,
It’s a fair point I suppose,
We have a lot of kit, (to be fair very little gets left in vans overnight)breakers, generators etc easy 20 grand plus, but most insurance is a racket there’s more get out clauses etc so never bother plus most of it is wrote down to nothing over the years on balance sheets.
