hi, I am not a plasterer as such but I have done a plastering course. I am a property developer.
I would love some expert help. What is the difference between Whindust and Lithomex. I need a repair to external steps which currently are worn concrete over sandstone.
many thanks in advance

Whin dust is a fine aggregate, grit basically.

Lithomex is a lime mortar for repairs to facing stone. It's not suitable for steps as it'd wear in no time.

Thanks so much for your reply. The steps would have been blond sandstone originally. We are looking to take out the concrete that they put on top and replace it with some product that could look like sandstone - cement with sand? Is there a product that you could recommend?
thanks in advance
