Plaster drying

I recently bought out three walls with plasterboard and plastered them. This was yesterday 12.9.18 and I wasn’t told to leave any form of ventilation in the room so this morning when I entered the room there was condensation on the windows. I’ve opened the door and windows and it cleared. I just shut my door an hour ago and popped in there and it’s building up again (the condensation) I can’t leave my balcony door open all night and we don’t have any nice weather really. What can I do and is this normal? The plaster still looks fresh, only in small areas it looks like it’s changing colour (drying) I’m a little worried so any advise or direction would really help.

Thank you

Normal. It’s the water you mixed up with coming back out into the air. Smells like kippers don’t it? Open a door to the room if can’t crack window

When its ajar!

Serious problems you've got here bud, you have no ventilation and all the moisture of the plaster will get into your mortar and weaken your house structurally I think your only option is to move or fess up to the mortgage company ...good luck either way

The windows are open a little now but it’s cold air from outside too. No not a plasterer I paid someone. Would putting the radiator on a low temp ruin the plaster? It was done Tuesday it’s basically early hours of Thursday and is no where near dry.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt....ventilate best you can and no, don't heat.

If you can't ventilate, don't sweat it.

Benefit of the doubt? I’m so confused! Sorry. I’m just a young woman with no clue and the plasterer didn’t tell me what to do and when I called him today he got crappy with me and now I see it not drying much I’m getting concerned. No trap just needed advise. I appreciate all the helpful comments. I’ve got the small window open tonight but it’s only 8 degrees/47 Fahrenheit tonight

This is all very normal and no need for you to worry.

Says the latest in a long line of cowboy builders.

It’s a bit too early for that. Also it doesn’t even make basic sense. And why on earth you’d just stroll into a thread and uselessly call someone a pervert I don’t know.
Relax doll... Just a wee bit banter. You know? When someone comes on and calls you a c**t.
If they have a sense of humour and all that..

Hmmm despite all your lessons you still don’t really seem to get the whole banter thing. Don’t worry it’s not for everyone! And if you met me you’d realise ‘doll’ really doesn’t suit me... at all. :numberone:

Here we go again.... Give it a rest eh? Boring now
Fine by me, your general attitude is getting a bit boring I’ll grant you... having to read you give out weird advice, then ask very basic questions, then unleash a bit of random anger, and then retreat into trying to look wounded when someone calls you out for what I find to be simple rudeness.... I think you’re what the paras would call a Walt .

My advice has been relevant. The questions I ask are about starting up. What's your big problem with it? You're obviously raging. You need a cup of teav

Just because your little ginger fanny and little titties are starting to grow through stop venting your frustration out on Jess ....she's more of a woman than you'll ever be.

You absolute savage beauty. Welcome back aboard sir x

Any bets tonight alg
