Did a render job 3years ago on some boundary walls floated up most of it blown. I'm pissed off always gauge
the stuff. The only reason I can think they have back filled the boundary walls whith tons of stuff and finish off whith grass on top my debate was to get a structure engineer for the wall structure but nobody took any notice and know I'm getting the blame for the blown render

If they backfilled the behind the wall and they have no weepers to let the water out, then that is why your render has blown as the water is coming through the wall and blowing your render, if there are weepers then without seeing it I couldn’t tell you

I was always told not to render below ground level not your fault most renders in cement fail some way study properties when driving you will be amazed at the failures you will see

Do you think that meshing the wall would be a good idea?or does anybody else have idea without taking the wall down lol
Mesh would of stopped it falling to the ground that’s is. It should of had weep holes or land drains behind with tanking membrane in first. Even still it’s a garden wall so won’t last as long as on a house.

Ther should be but weeper or not if it any retaining wall you should get a structure engineer

You would know if they had weepers or not because you would have seen them. I didn’t realise it was a retaining wall but that’s not your problem you only rendered it.
