Help with crazing !

One coat of gardz. Give it a couple of hours to set off hard and then one coat of 3-1 Pva and bang on the skim. Will be hanging wet. Done a wall 3 weeks ago where builders finish skim had come off hardwall and had no problems with suction, but with this heat we all risk getting problems. It's 29c now at 8.15 am so what's it going going to at noon. I'm not working today. I know a builder that will be sat in the pub today. He says only muppets work in this heat. You can't build anything when it this hot. He is maybe on to something :descansando:

Agree with most, but they manage perfectly ok to build in Qatar and Dubai and other hotter countries.

Just been reading multi finish spec. Should not be applied to surfaces that will heat to over 49c. Rapid loss of water (hot weather drying) will cause a loss of adhesion. No maximum temperature range. As for hot countries they use the products and technics for their environment.

I’m guesing/hoping it’s a practical joke.. as your hand will get covered in pva.

Makes no f**k**g sense but what do i know x

In extreme conditions like now for instance what I do is flatten the hardwall , spray pva, soak the sponge in pva and sponge it . It’s a must when you do big areas. Skimming next day no problem.

This weeks been enough to drive me grazey! It’s Friday . Time to unwind
