Anyone on here have a pft swing airless or knows someone who has one? I'm dying to see one in action.
Thanks

Not the swing mate unfortunately, got the mark V, it's alright, but I think the swing more suitable for some reason, well in my mind anyway
How do you find it mate? Tbh , I am a bit sceptical using this for domestic. Tried spraying multi few years ago and it was s**t, I was covered in s**t and we turned the machine in s**t. Well, for one day only .... it was all s**t and I never looked back tbh. Every one is praising airless but I am still not convinced tbh, I don’t know, every time I hear plaster and machine I remember that day :frio::llorando:

I think it's a brilliant system for new work, not entirely convinced on using it for reskim. I seen a lot of people using it for going over wallpaper, and old stuff on domestic where I think it's just a slow system, it gives you a false sensation because it's white and looks more finished where in reality you could have loads of misses, still have to sand it and whatnot, same with anything really.
This is clean as mate, even if you have a bit of an overspray by the time it hits the floor it's dry and it's negligible. Come and see me in the week if you have a spare afternoon can show you what's it like the finished product on the job we on

Tbh this is valid point Zol , I’ve always thought the same , took me ages to kind of get my head around all the machines out there , can’t understand why the pft airless isn’t more widely used compared to the others maybe it is just cost of purchase but I have gone through all the YouTube videos and man that pft one looks brilliant, just going off looks alone it’s well fit

Graco has been used much more by the painters before that and had the front door open for the airless , where Pft had to enter through the back door.
Can’t wait to see the reaction of all painters who bought airless to do skim, when that skim roller comes on the market :ROFLMAO::loco:

Maybe there isn’t many or any using the pft because it just sprays the plaster ? Either way said it before to my mate if my mrs hadn’t of spent all money I’d love to just splash out on the pft to see

You can put it on with a roller mate, they do it like that in a fair few countries. Graco preferred because of the painters, it's just a newish market here and they try grab more audience.
Honestly come and see us this week, my mate Adrian there too who you would have loads in common, we're just off the A41 in Wiggington nice run on your bike, no speed cameras

I think it's material related. Some easy to spray some not, just like rendering, causing you grief with the machine.
I just want to see a swing in action
u getting much call for airless mate? have u managed to use that pallet yet?

i want to see more of airless to see if worth getting into

Only a few left, I don't think I'll be using it on reskim it's total ballache, on board or new floated work it's mint. I give no options, if I think the airless easier I use that, if we have the odd bit that gets covered with board or multi or if the timings are shite it allows you to slap a bit on with the airless as you can pick it up weeks later where you left itas it needs sanding anyway. It's pointless on a one off small room or a reskim unless the person can't skim or you haven't the manpower or everything pissed as it's slow to dry out if you need a few coats, but that's just my opinion. Cost too much as well compared to multifinish. Just hire a machine or borrow one for a week to see how it goes then you would have nothing to loose or sub some work out to someone and just hang about when they do it. And again just my opinion, I certainly wouldn't attempt to sand it without extraction, which obviously comes at a cost too not to mention consumables. I'm sure others see it differently but it's just my views on it.

If you have anything suitable in a month's time let me know I pop down for a couple of days and then you can have a go yourself.

cheers mate....

I might try and get out on site and see for myself as well... I have only seen used it on small bits in controlled enviroments

I've still only used knaufs and the baumit sx gear but i found it Sprays so much easier and with no blockage issues from the hopper wetted up a little then out of a tub.
Found it was constantly saying it was empty even when the gorrilla tub was still Half full.

That sounds like the pump is creating an air block and that creates a space....

Needs one of those dildo things the poured concrete guys use

Wondering could it be the r/s on the swing that makes the difference it looks a right good one
