Dick head!

Doing a load of little bathroom refurbs at mo...nice job. Putting ceiling on this morning and managed to flick a big blob of multi straight into my eye... Completely flood it. Shouted my mate who proceeded to drench me to flush it out. Anyway, long story short, went to casualty, checked pH which was OK then had a saline flush which was bloody horrible and now have a scratched, irritated and patched up uncomfortable eye. Well pissed off as I've lost 2 days drying time and scuppered all my weekend plans. Dick head!!

I agree with John, I've always kept a decent eye bath in van since

Yeah, will def get one now. I've had a bit go in before, but just a tiny bit and washed out fine. Eye never got chance to react so a full on hit so to speak!

I did it at scarbourgh and drove back to leeds and everytime a car drove towards me burned like hell. Plus wife had just got me ps3 for xmas and i couldnt loom at telly lol

Pissed up with my mate years ago and she threw a harribo at me (I was trying to catch them in my gob) and she smashed my contact lense in my eye! Had to walk back from hospital at 2am because couldn’t get a taxi, down pitch black country lanes with one eye.

Doing the same thing at the minute little bathroom refurb .. spot lights.. replace couple floor board ..box in section for shelf ..boxing in the soil pipe bonding areas and skimming full room.
Starting skimming the ceiling Bang !!
Having a great time reboarding ceiling now

I reckon you will be okay tomorrow, I’ve never been up the hospital for that, had a few massive blobs too, covered me eye once red as f**k the next day but it worked okay

Long as u didnt go towards any oncoming vehicles like a moth with ur depth perception up the left lol

Good man, funny how the job always comes first we are not like other trades who can just put a tool away and go

I've had bits go in my eye before, but this wasn't letting up, so went just in case. I'm a stubborn git with most injuries, but Only round the corner so no excuse.

Tiz a b*****d filling eye ball. Filled mine a month or two ago. It streams randomly fpr days after it

I wasn’t knocking it, it’s just the way I am, last time I went to hospital for work injury was when I was seventeen, unscrewing a dead light bulb and the bugger broke taking the top of my thumb off, the site agent made me go. Forty two years ago that was

That would make you 32:maraca:

I was in agony. Nurse put some drops in and all pain went. I asked if i can have some but your eye has to heal naturally so they gave me some fake tear drops and this yellow gunge stuff that stuck me eye together for a hour

Hope u ok mate I wear glasses all the time on jobs but got a load of crap in still two weeks ago swapped to full on safety googles now
