First off hi new to this site and plastering world just fully qaulified and started a small private job rendering
Scratch coat 4:1 rendering sand cement used waterproofer and mortisizer
Apllied and scratched
Was good
Set beads great
Left for 10 sunny days
Went back today and well started top coat
Applied 5:1 rendering sand cement
Waterproofer and mortisizer
Leveled off left to dry up and floated
Now this is where it all went wrong for some reason when floating it seemed to be very grainy and had alot of holes and well just looked absoutly s**t excuse my french i had to leave it and hopefully try fix it on monday but need advise and help would you say i never put my top coat on thick enough for this to happen or is it my mix maybe i should have used a rendering soft sand mix perhaps to try reduce the stones in the rendering sand
Pictures uplaoded show how bad it is and i want to make sure it looks good
My solutions to thinking would be maybe to score the top coat hit it with a slurry mix then go over again with a top coat of render sand and soft sand mix would this work
