Skimming over skim. Rough

got to re-skim this shite. Done the double living room last 2 days. Rest of house to do next week.

This was done by 2 older spreads. They skimmed the skirting, windows and floor for free too.

Is it bad enough to warrant a reskim? some 120 grit and an hour filling may be all it needs

Pictures probably don’t do it justice . Its near enough full house would take longer to faff around with it and not something id do. Customer wants it bang on so re skim it is. DOne the double living room as in pics just gotta do few more rooms now

Bring filler just incase haha. I enjoy painting own work.

Even if this could be sorted with filler the customer is so upset about it they just want it doing properly. They did spend a few hours sanding one ceiling before calling me haha

I hope not , not asked. Was 2 older chaps been doing it 30 years.

To be honest I hope they didn’t get paid. Being rough is one thing but this is just disrespectful, littery covered the new windows in gear and all the skirting covered. They didn’t use any dust sheets.

It wasn’t a cheapest thing either, the builder got them in. Feel bad for the customers but they’re happy now seen the double living room re skimmed
