Gonna try to do 20k on the rower tomorrow.......watch this space.
Failed.......ran out of gas........gonna try again though.
Got off the machine and felt so disappointed I decided to treat my arms to a little workout like @Tinytom ........which made me feel a bit better

Finally got back training after jarring wrist, second time back today after last weds (would have went fri but had to go for bday dinner lol) jesus not long in lpsing what small fitness I had built up. 2 2min rounds at end tonight and i was gasping lol. May stick at it try shift the Xmas belly lol
 
Went out on mtb last night decided to stick to roads as sick of mud, and to be honest I,m 42 but still get scared being in woods by me self at night .
Anyway decided to keep in high gear as much as poss and was climbing this hill where a lad was stood with his bike . 2 mins further down road this kid passes me , Stood up going hell for leather . So once he passes I stay right behind him . Road open up at traffic light so I pulls along side him . When he looks I give him a little nod and just leave him standing . Still sat sat down . It was loop I did at beginning of year and found it loads easier. There’s a old pit top near us and I clocked 33.5 mph coming down that but had to brake for a dog walker so prob have got faster. Wanting to get 40 mph but think. I,ll need a better bike

You'd be better off trying to stick to one type of training, really.
 
I'm swimmy swim swimming after work as of last two weeks, love it I'm a natural water baby! Only thing that pisses me off is the four blokes who think they are fast enough for the cordoned off lanes when they swim like cabbages! And the group of teenagers who randomly turned up last time and took up loads of room doing nothing but talking! :mad:
 
Think we could get bout 37 . 40 might be to much . Maybe on hardtail . You don' really relise till you break at bottom

We cycled to lands end from JOG and my speedo on my hybrid would corrupt at around 50mph... was good fun but got a bit twitchy at times. But it was that ride that made me go out and do my bike license :D

Jane swims a lot... I see it as lazy exercise... alos a great way to f**k your hips up doing breast stroke :-(

Depends how you do it. If you swim as fast as you can continually for 40mins to an hour it's good exercise! I did go running but don't like the impact on my knees. Love swimming it's like therapy. And there's no way I want to do gym stuff like everyone on here, my biceps, traps etc are big enough for a girl through work

That must of been some hill. One we go downs bout 200 meter though it' only last 60 ish thats steep.

There are quite a few monstrous hills we went down... one was called the "struggle" in the lake district... that was mental... Over taking cars and all sorts... I also had to change brake pads at the bottom because they were cooked
 
Only manage 31 .7 mph today . New I had started blasting it to soon though and when I got to drop I was out of gas..........on a good note though saw bout 7 deers up there. Tried to get a pic but by time got glove of phone out they were vertualy gone

I saw deer when I was green laning last year... it was sooo good :D
 
I don’t bother with the gym anymore. I’ve found a perfect exercise video I follow.
2.40 onwards is where it gets real good.

Is sad that I.m proper excited to be finishing early and getting out on bike in daylight and apart from few snow flakes perfect riding weather . Come on wall dry ye b*****d

Full fried breakfast (bacon, sausage, black pudding etc.). Roast pork bap/batch/cob/roll for luncheon. Gammon steak with all the trimmings, followed by a liquid desert for dinner. :eek: :LOL:

BTW, there's a top notch roach coach for luncheon delights tomorrow. I can highly recommend the sausage and black pudding baguettes. So don't bother bringing your FatFast shakes. ;)
