This all confirms what I said earlier about the need for a decent comprehensive booklet.
When I first bought my Ritmo how the hell was I supposed to know that different materials need different R&S's or which ones?
The PFT instructions might as well have been written in Greek!
close they are in german....

A clamp r@s should do all on the ritmo.

Tbh this is why I like forum threads I’m not the brightest spark but do and have read a lot of the machine threads , they are always there to check up on things a lot of help and advice is here, even when I’ve asked daft questions someone has always gave an answer or suggestions, really does help
Also when reading old old threads I realised I’m not the only thick idiot on here when using machine and most are in same boat.

most 3 phase machine have built in gennys. try a 20 kva see if it makes any difference
If you mean the 230 v socket underneath , yes I do have it and when using the machine in 3ph I just plug in the water pump to the machine and 3ph from the gene to the machine. Surely the Germans had the same idea when designed the machine . We should have all the info given to us when buying any type of machine , new or used, and not just how to turn it on and spray. That’s far from what we need in the first days with the new machine. I have done some research now, since you didn’t say what r&s you are using when in 3ph and found out that the recommendation is slimline for 230 and d6-3 twister when in 3ph, exactly what I was suggesting,so there is no one universal r&s for the machines , you have to chose and select based on what material , distance and power you are using. That’s new to me tbh and I have used ritmo before I got my own and we didn’t had any problems with any material or the kind of bs, hence I went for ritmo and g4 in one.
My research also says I shouldn’t had have problem running the water pump and machine from the gene in 230 , but for some reasons I can’t which is telling me Ryan might have the edge here .

And while we are on here.... I need a light weight shaft for XL @PFTwales and @Plasterers1StopShop if Any of you can give me a price and delivery time that will be great. Any hint on what r&s I should use with bauwer light will be much appreciated too. I don’t want to end up with disaster day and look like a proper c**t , won’t be the first time tho

r u using the xl in single or 3phase mode

If someone could just come forward and say ' right, we've got this machine, if you put this part on it and set your water to roughly ### it'll fire Hardwall on like you won't believe. If you take ## off and put ## on and set your water to roughly ###, it'll wack Monorex on at 10 ltr. a minute, all you'll need is ## transformers or ## generator', they'd clean up.
We bought our machine and generator, but then found out we'd need two new transformers to run of the mains, oh and "don't plug both transformers into ###".
You need to be able to plug and play from day one.
And breathe, rant over.

Exactly my frustration mate, and maybe I wouldn’t be so disappointed if I didn’t had to redo 40m2 of mono cos the f**k**g r&s wasn’t up to it. How the f**k should I know that . FFS.
Rant not over
Far from over :D

Mate I've hand applied whole (big) houses with Hardwall and many, many metres of render because I can't be doing with problems on every job.
Years ago I spent £2000 on a road towable cement mixer and it has earned its money so many times over with zero hassle. I so, so wish the same could be said for the Ritmo.

Ha ,funny you should say that, I got my eyes on forced action mixer at the moment

I don’t know just stick with the hard r/s and ask questions if you venture in to something else seem like a no brainer to me

Tbf id f**k all problems with the ritmo l. I have the generator to run it and the pump. And have a water butt. I always have 2 or 3 r@s with me. I use just the one for hardwall won't put render in that one. But electric machines are temperamental

The man says different. I wonder why it won’t work on XL?

I don't know lol. Get a diesel. That's my plan have a ritmo and diesel. c**t let me down on a diesel a few weeks ago. Told me he would sell it to me. Then he pulled out the c**t of a c**t.

If there wasn't problems with the ritmo, I'd miss not be able to phone up @PFTwales, but I secretly think he gets off on the power of it all.

I have a big diesel for you and you already know you love her
His love about carbon goes back to his childhood. Once black, forever black :D

He sold me a gold plated stator recently, he claimed it would help us spray monorex more effectively and help us pull more birds... it didn't but he sounded knowledgable about it.
