First of all big thanks to@RobJack for giving me Andy's number from GoldTrowel to get the products to water proof this job here in France. I'll post finished photos after sealed, waxed and shined. The last is the tiled before pic.

Nice job mate. Looks well. What plaster have you used. Did you remove tiles or go straight over them. Is he sending hydrocalce

Cheers man. I made a Venitian mix with pozzo Novo lime paste and marble dust tinted with ocre grey and terre d'ombre as the finish coats, lime and sand finished on edge as a base, first put a coat of carrosuple hp 2 to level out grout lines. Tiles were in great shape and 2 walls had board behind them so rip out/ rebuild was too costly for my client. Andy seems like a real solid guy, I told him about the project and he told me what I needed, I didn't ask too many details, I don't think I have to wait about taking his word for it. ;)
