Plaster over tanking cracked

hi guys,
Had damp issues in a stone built property so hacked the walls to 1500, rendered, tanked with k11/sbr, and rendered back to level.
Then I had a plasterer skim over with Multi.

The problem I'm having is all the multi that is over the sand and cement is cracking, very small hairline cracks and fairly spread apart, 200mm.

I'm thinking maybe it's because the S&C wasn't fully dry?

What options do I have, fill and hope it doesn't crack more, re skim, mesh and re skim?

Appreciate any advice.

Tanking in a stone built property ?

If the cracked skim is "sound" I'd glue it and bed render mesh in the first coat. Must agree with @gps regard "tanking" a stone built property?? I think your asking for trouble as stone built houses need breathable products or your going to have issues with condensation down the line

Yeah it was stone rather than brick. It's an old terraced house...
What would the other options have been? Had a sovereign approved chap do the tanking and issue a garantee. Not sure what they are worth however.

Will the cracks keep opening up? Is it worth filling them or just bite he bullet and get them skimmed with mesh?

I take it the sovereign approved guy only guaranteed half the job? It means nothing, anyone can become sovereign approved as long as they use their gear. Get in touch with them and and see if it's normal for them to tank over stone? Did you get someone else in to skim?

Lime plastering was option A!B!C
I'm thinking now to recommend dot and dab with insulation board and skim ,50 mm board ,stops it been a cold wall , stops cracks ,keeps you warm

Find out how the stonework got wet. Then stop it.
Take off the sand and cement and get a reputable lovelybloke to put a lime based product on.
Part, with money to lovelybloke, do not get the arse about it, think of it more as speculating on many many brownie points that you can cash in for sexual favours from whomever you love.
Be amazed at the skill of lovelybloke, and that he is generous enough to let you wallow in smugness. Thank him, profusely.
Oh and the sovereign guarantee......well, you know....
