I’ve got an iPhone six, had it coming up to three years I think? Got it covered with a survivor case and it’s done well the actual phone looks brand new, definitely pays to get a case that completely wraps around the phone

Its oct and the year isnt finished yet and ive to but a fifth f**k**g screen for my second phone this year! Time i started looking for a better phone for working. Seen this online saying its a builders phone, does anyone have it or know anything about them because im sick to death with these other smart phones in work.

I've had some great cases for phones that are really strong. The problem with them is the phone becomes massive and very heavy with the ones that offer the most protection.

I got the CAT S60 on contract and it's well worth the hype as it's as strong as the best cases, but no where near as bulky. The camera has less mega pixels than stuff like the sony, but they're overkill for most stuff. Internet usage is fine, and the battery will go three days without a charge. I'd definitely recommend them as they really are built with a rough environment in mind rather than built to look good in a wine bar.

I am looking at that at the moment

Do not buy any phone with less that 2 gig of ram and 16 gig storage. Just don't! These armoured phones don't get software updates and are way over priced. I've thrown out better spec phones. The one you posted is so crap! As for screen breaking use a OtterBox armoured case on a decent spec phone. Don't buy curved edge phones either. S6 or s7 with a otterbox case will do you fine

The S60 has 3 gb RAM, 32 gb internal storage and it'll take 256 gb card. I've had it three months and it's had two CAT updates and an Android update.

I bought an S8+ the other week and returned it as it was broken in 2 days... £650 refunded back to me and I am now back to using my old Note 4... much better phone and in an otter box it has survived the years worth of work on our place and a 6 month buggy build

I used the note 4 for 3 years and still loved it but I changed carriers and had to get a new phone so now have the note 8. I have a good case and screen protector and have never broken a screen yet and dropped all of my phones plenty. I wear cargo pants for work and always carry my phone and never had a problem with breaking anything.

I work up my contracts on my phone and use it to attach pictures, make notes directly on the pictures, email clients, watch football games, and it's the only way I access this site. (Thus all the auto correct typos) Having the s pen is a must have option for me at this point. Nothing like having clients sign your contract electronically right on the spot and emailing it before you leave the house. Makes for a very professional impression. I can't have a phone without the pen and I hate iOS with the heat of a thousand suns so not going that route.

I can highly recommend the note 8. I loved the note 4 and didn't think it could be improved but the note 8 is noticeably better. If they made a note 4 and just put the note 8 guts in it I'd be even happier though. I loved being able to swap out batteries and now I don't have that option but the bump in performance is worth it.

The £650 phone with thermal imaging? That's what I just read.

Yeah, except it's 'free' with some contracts now, I got it as a contract renewal with Vodaphone. There's no way I'd be parting with anything like that amount for a phone, it's ridiculous money.

Given up on contract phones now. Just buy outright and run a sim only deal. It's nice to hear that there is a tuff phone with good specs and that's getting updates though. If your paying monthly through business then great..Trouble is many have no idea what they are buying and get taken advantage of with piss poor hardware. To many get stuck with a duff phone and 2 years deal they can't get out of

I bought a little Nokia dealer phone for site. It does fcuk all but call and text.

I paid £10.38 for it with £10 credit.

Just leave my nice phone in my jacket pocket then.

If it wasn't a company phone and I was working as a subby or sole trader I wouldn't have a smart phone at all. Actually, I probably wouldn't bother with a mobile at all.

Leave good phone in van and divert all calls to an old Nokia brick phone. Call diverts just comes off your mins and any decent contact should have a 1000+mins so you will never run out. I told my brother to do that as he keeps smashing his phone up on scaffold. You can set it to divert after 15 seconds if no answer on the best phone to dum phone. one solution I guess

I'm like xiaomi phones. Just bought the xiaomi 4a international with band 20 for the 02, giffgaff and tesco network for £75 new. Just use is as a spare plus music player / podcast at work. Runs real fast and will switch itself on and off automatically so battery last me a few days with data off. I also use as a sat nav when needed. Not a bad spec phone for the money and puts the op original phone spec to shame. Just not a strong phone but with tempered glass screen protector and case it's will be fine for me. I leave my best phone in works bag with wallet ect
