Hi all.

Doing this massive barn conversion and they have board the walls and ceilings in 15mm blue boards 3m for the height.

They are sucking the shite out off the multi with no chance to flatten down or even get a decent hit inn.

Any body else had this problem/best way to over come i thought about a coat off pva first?
Cheers

Never had a problem with them ,what plaster are you using and how long are the boards up

using multi mate, think the boards have been up about 1 month tops but there has been no windows in while it was tacked out only fitted today. boards do look a bit dated.
Are 3metre boards stocked or special order

Special order ,I've only seen them once in my time , probably a light pva would sort it or gypprime ,

Had it before long time ago on a big site rep came out same old shite nothing wrong with boards it was us water was different in that area tools to dirty wasn’t coating same gear so we just slapped a load of pva on night before and came and skimmed in morning no bother

We done 3 barns on one site with soundboards don’t know why the had them as they was all detached
We didn’t have a problem with them
but they do suck in quicker than normal Plus them barns get bloody hot if insulated properly so that don’t help

Like you say if they have been up some time just pva
