i don’t really gamble that much odd 5er here and there and don’t really see the appeal of it but many do I came across a book lately that was brilliant from start to finish about a bloke who was a compulsive gambler and eventually got hooked on roulette machines and he tells his story and now has gone straight it’s an excellent read and if you or anyone you know is suffering from gambling I recommend you read this book and who knows it might actually save someone

It’s called
How and why I conned the bookies

Bit too late:whistle:
Haha straight up mate he was a real con man and lost everything to gambling and his stories are crazy thing is and I know this from personal experience from one of my partners relatives who lost everything that with most other addictions it can be obvious like drugs or booze but with gambling it’s easier to hide and they are the biggest liars out of most addictions

Serious though sometimes we can have a laugh about things but cos some of us don’t understand why some choose that sort of addiction but it was an honest account and he don’t wallow in self pity and blame others it’s an honest account of what life as a compulsive gambler is like

Some very interesting people about... addiction is a tricky subject though....

Are we born with it or do we grow into it?

£1600 a week is good going, is that every week?

It’s not directed at anyone but thought should share cos Plasterer’s ain’t known for reading books but this is a winner and a lot of us can relate to it plus it’s now been endorsed by @flynnyman so you know what he is like and could start a fight in a phone box but he knows who bloke is and knows he got an important message to get across and for me it’s actually an important one

I read a lot and best thing I ever got was a kindle, great way to wind down and relax before sleep.Nothing serious a bit of Gerald Seymour or Lee Child.I know plasterers who can't read or write and are wealthy men and fair play to them, and plasterers who could have been surgeons but chose a different path and still did extremely well.

I will stick it on my kindle :D I am reading a book on the guy who tried to crack roulette then went on to crack blackjack and then the stocks and shares market :D

Its a hard work book to read but its been eye opening :D COmplete opposite to your book but still :D
