What's the oldest tool you use frequently? Hopefully some of you old boys will have a double hung ragni in an oily rag.

When @Lodan started out I told him to ask around at merchants for everybody's favourite, a glass hammer, don't know if he's sorted one out yet

2yo hawk. Lol skimming trowel is a year old, floating trowel is month old. Have an older floating trowel, must be about 6yo will bring back into play when nela broken in enough. And my old skimming trowel is retired due the A kink, use it for coating dash receiver on though, works treat for it, must he about 5 or 6yo too. Most other tools I've replaced last couple years. Pointers, snips etc. Oh I've 2angle trowels must be about 2009/10 lol but we do opposites usually. Last couple times had soft angle to do, did it freehand. There's fews old trowels and floats in das shed that belonged to granda. But wouldn't dare take em out case they got wrecked or lost.

Good choice bopper, what miles has it got on it? I nearly got one myself the other year, opted for the transit custom limited L2 high roof for the extra space.

a green plastic tyrol gun that comes out about once every couple of years. lots of early Tyzak moulding tools , brass small tools, other tools that are used for pargetting. a render stipple brush, a muck hod, plastic bath,a larry, a selection of knackered refina, bosch, paddle mixers which we use for spares.. 2 different size metal scoopes for taking material from a tub. these tools are just handy when the time arise.

I remember having to keep to spreads going mixing Browning with them all morning. The c@@ts would drop a cog if you were i front nust sk they could piss you off that the spot was empty. Nice afternoon though mixing a creamy carlite finish up and prepping for thw next day.

Trying to hog all the pink bags of browning when the other spreads had left site cuz it set quicker. Carlite was good to spread.
