73.3% in favour of ridding the forum of this politics scurge. Gordon and John should just text each other. Save us the misery :rayos::ROFLMAO::D:bananahappy::bailando::hola:

Again don't come in the political threads it's really not difficult is it ?
Sort of agree with you Gordon, but individuals political views can piss off others which will makes this place go downhill, IE losing members
Well the ignore button still an option as well, it works for me, sometimes it is funny tho when I see you in a thread arguing with yourself tho lol

That's why they shouldn't come into a political thread if offended by it, is it really that difficult ?

As for losing members I'm not having that at all, those that want to just talk plastering should just stay in the plastering threads.

Personally I couldn't care less if anyone is left right, G** straight, transgender, just a skimmer or renderer.

Debates make this place interesting.

Have you got a link?

Yeah I agree too. Let it remain campaign, if we talk plastering we get called boring anyway so you can't win. Only down side is that it comes in the new post list which I reckon most people press..... But really ban it? We will only find something else to argue over..... isn't that just what we do?

85 threads 2025 posts in a short period of time suggests all you moaning nuggets can go and get fuc ked

What do you think to the death tax?

I'm going to have to hold my hands up and say I've not seen or read too much of the Tory manifesto today.

However I'm not a fan of death tax or even inheritance tax for that matter.

Wasn't it a labour idea initially though ?

Before you try and pass the blame have a read, its f**k**g robbing the dead and it's not gone down too well with the oldies who are also gonna loose their winter payments as well as their houses.

Slow down there cowboy.

Winter payments to be means tested and rightly so, it should only go to those in need, not the likes of ken Clarke etc.

And I've said I oppose any tax in death given it's all money that's already be taxed and I include inheritance tax in that

That's the Tories for you. Work all your life, pay your mortage, pay your tax and national insurance, and then when you die they'll take the house from your kids . So they raise the threshold to £100 000 but now include your house as your assets. What a bunch of c**ts. In the meantime, those that don't work, that claim benefits, that get housing benefit or a council house, will get all their healthcare paid for. Brilliant. A well thought out plan.

Lol you should of mentioned rod Stewart that's the normal line :) means tested means some loose out which isn't fair and it will cost just as much to means test it as what they save, or in the case of assessing the disabled it actually costs more than what they save. I think you should have a read and get back to us it's quite important a bit more important than abbot getting her sums wrong or getting that precious sovereignty back :)

Where as under labour it would be free for all yes ? Under Blair and brown it was also free was it ?

was talking to my gran about the winter payments a while back as I was asking how she gets it while she is now quite relatively well off. Her reply was her next door neighbour who is around the same age as her spent her life buying the best of stuff while my gran scrimped and saved every week and now because she saved all her life and her neighbour spent why should the neighbour now be rewarded with money now and she doesn't. Hadn't thought about it like that.

The average cost they say to look after one pensioner is £50.000 a year so in two years they have bought off you what has taken a life time to buy wtf? I'm not sure what the crack is if your partner needs to go into a home?

So under all labour governments it's been free for all ?

I'm sure the death tax has been around for a few hundred years so it's nothing new I don't think myself if you have paid into a system all your life you should have to be made to pay for care in old age although the system is open to abuse as ones who haven't really paid In and have no assets still have care provided I blame the care homes and what they charge I feel it's robbery

It's the Dementia Tax. A lottery. If you need cancer care in old age it will be provided by the NHS. If you have dementia and need care you're kids will lose all the inheritance that you built up for them throughout your life. Nothing is beyond this shower of c**ts. The President of Alzheimers Research UK? David Cameron :ROFLMAO:

I'm sure the death tax has been around for a few hundred years so it's nothing new ...

Really? Are you sure about that? Having to sell your house to pay for your care in old age is something new. The Dementia Tax will backfire on the bitch.

Tax has been around for many a year it's just tweaked to fit around the times I don't agree with it tax was only brought in to fund wars many moons ago

I have to say that I am appalled at the notion of this rise in tax for care in old age. But our social care infrastructure is creaking and needs more dosh.

Announcing this now, before the election can be seen in two ways. Either she is so confident of a win she feels she can do just whatever she likes, or........she feels that the public should be voting on a manifesto " warts and all".... open and (I hope) honest.......time will tell.

Don't think mckluskey saying it will be good if labour only lose 30 seats!

I don't like taking school meals away. I don't like a rise in taxes. But I also like living in this country, and I know that all that we want as a right must all be paid for, the wages in the social sector, care, nursing, police, doctors must all be realistic and mirror skills sets......and all be paid for.

I am resigned to having to work for longer than my dad did . I am preparing for that, everyone else should as well.
