I have a couple of these aswell as the wobble lights Danny, but with the wobblelights being discontinued these are the next best thing.
Really good lights.
I think they're re doing them but in an LED. So I was told at CEF.

I have one of these in 240v ..

... and does a room about 14' x 14'

Used it all through last winter and was great throughout.

Cooling fan keeps cutting in, but apart from that a really heavy duty light.
Cheers mate, that looks a good little light. Can't get a price for it though? I have the faithful plasterers light but it's not really good enough to light a whole room.

Ah I see... forgot the wobble lights are discontinued now @Lodan was looking for some new lights (I think)

Not cheap, but worth the investment in my opinion!

I actually ordered a Wobble light and transformer, but they were discontinued. So settled for one of these plus a refund.

It is like having 3 or 4 of the cheap 30 quid LED 1400 lumen lamps without the flimsy stands that fall apart, the need for a 4 plug extension lead .... and most importantly, doesn't play up the radio.

But it's only 6000 lumens?
Why buy one of them when you can get the apollo for £80 less, that gives a surrounding light, and gives off 2&1/2 times more light??
I don't get it.

Much depends on whether you use 240v, own a transformer and want the maintenance free convenience of LED.
Not everyone wants to lug a load of bulky kit around.
And the whole lumen thing is a bit of a mystery to me. I have a Petzl headtorch with a boost feature that doubles the output for a few seconds, but hardly makes any difference.
Like I said, I ordered a wobble light, but had to settle for one of these ... but I will be getting a 2nd one for the winter.
Everyone who sees it working says "that's some fcuking light you got there"

Great for domestics, but I'm not saying I'm not tempted to get an Apollo at that price for the bigger jobs .... But I suspect they are shifting old stock to make way for new LED stock?

I'd suggest for you to get an Apollo, 4055, they are a different animal.
You wouldn't give a sh1te if it were led or not once you plugged it in, certainly at £30 [emoji23][emoji23]
