Lime plaster has been applied to wood wood boards and shrinkage has occurred after 2months.

Will the caulk thats been added fix this problem or best to start again?

Did you do the plastering? What lime/mix have you used. Since when lime has the multi finish like ?

No definitely a crack, I have the before filled picture somewhere.

Whilst I'm on what's caused this cracking on the stone walls (see pics)?

Looks like shrinkage to me......was the wall too dry before plastering? Is the room very warm? Others here will know more.

There's always a 'repair' that can be done, but if you want a solid properly plastered wall remove it and start again. IMO

Also, agree with all my fellow plasterers above about the crack - I've had my hands on a huge number of cracks in the past so I know what I'm looking at.

No I didn't do this, plasterer has done this. Not sure I understand the multi finish question.
It looks like shrinked paper , which is very common for multi finish. You can repair the crack by running Stanley knife along and it looks like someone has done it. That again is very common for multi . By the look of it , not sure if lime plasterer has done the job, but the person who has done it has very little, if not none, experience with lime. Timings and technics are screeming -skimmer. As for the last two pictures that's forced lime.

Regards to your 2nd pictures is there any possibility that frost got to the work at the time it was done? Should really be 5 and rising for around 4 weeks after it has been done. Also looks like it is cement based as it's very dark ?
