I know nothing about the machines tbh ,but the top one in the vid its so thin its more like painting the wall ,i can get the thickness in one pass if i want ,thats me being honest

The top video is spraying at approximately 8-10mm according to the customer - who always sprays in two passes.

We will always recommend spraying in two passes with this machine and this is the way we show our customers

What water setting and speed Greg ?i have a large thirst coming up
Takes 8 seconds to boil and speed is as fast as you can gulp. Mrs Marshy empties the thing in few seconds had lots of practice apparently sucking tennis balls thro hosepipes according to some blokes in a pub were she worked years ago ???

I don't come on the forum very often but decided this morning to browse through a few threads.
I saw Ritmo L or Mtec 200?
Something I feel adequately experienced to comment on. Seem to have aroused a little interest while I was at the pub.
This is just my account of using the M200 machine. I wasn't out to slag it off, I've no reason to. I have put about 35 pallets of gear through that machine and with my mate Adie ran with the learning curve. Just gave my account of it over a three month period. I know machine plastering well, its a hard game to be in even with a familiar machine that performs as you want it to. So you look out for innovative improvements, that something extra that will make your life easier, a little more output for your money, easier set up and clean down etc.
The advertised Mtec 200 seemed to tick boxes. And I will admit the clean down on this machine is nice and quick. But that is insignificant if it won't spray correct consistency /thickness of material (and I know what that is) at full speed 4, 'almost as quick as a three phase machine'.. as advertised, which is what sold it to Adie.
Des Miller is a nice bloke. He watched us work. He tried to get me to spray it on piss wet 3 or 4 mm thick than have a cup of tea so it could pick up before we went over it again with another piss wet coat to eventually press some mesh into the gear, I was scared to fart in case it fkin ran down the wall. Was all wrong. He didn't get it that while we were supposedly having these frustrating tea breaks, we were losing momentum and daylight!. I had to alter the machine to stiffen up the gear and show him how to do it. But to make this work we had to slow the output down to speed three. He filmed it all, the wet s**t and the real way we do it. At the end of the day Des admitted we had it right and this machine won't do it on speed 4. End of.
On speed 3 yes. As I said, it runs and sprays ok. And we have produced some nice work with it. But nothing that my ritmo could not do any quicker anyway. But challenge a G4.. dream on.

As for Adie, he is kind of 'happy with the machine' but feels he would be happier if it worked in top gear like he thought it would..

I will speak to Des about this and see what he says. I am surprised to hear this view as all the other views are awesome and we even have guys spraying on 10mm thick on speed 4 - no issues with that, this is also what Adie was trained on - speed 4. I can't understand why Des would make you spray 4mm wet twice, that wouldn't even give you the correct thickness over a 3 pass application - I will follow up on this

If Adie isn't happy with his machine, he is more than welcome to contact us regarding it and we will discuss this with him.

I will honestly and fairly dispute the consistency issues as this is something we are very confident with, as with any manufacturers you also can't advertise something which isn't correct. The output of 18l/min has been recorded, therefore its only 2 l/min slower than a G4. Please remember, I'm not arguing with your view, that is your experience with using the machine a few times and you're entitled to say it - I cant say I'm over the moon to hear it, but at the same time its something we can look into and prove otherwise. The other reviews are also from customers who use it daily and there views differ from yours.

If Adie would like a technician to visit him again, free of charge to ensure this machine is running correctly and on speed 4 I will happily organise this

Here is another video of the M-tec M200 in action spraying Weber.

Speed 4, 20m material hose - 2 pass application, the first pass sprayed was approximately 8-12mm. Both reported via our technician and customer

Why can't it be sprayed on in one pass if it's nearly the same output as the G4?
I've sprayed tons of parex on one pass no problem with the ritmo l

It can do it. The output doesn't doesn't mean anything regarding one or two pass application, it's down to the mix.

The machine will mix and spray in a one pass application but is far more efficient or better spraying in two

Not getting into a war with anyone , but sod spraying 2 coat day in day out ,but as said thats why i have the G4 ,i know nothing about ritmo or Mtec

In all fairness this is at ground level. Maybe 5 metres up would be a better presentation.

We run a 110v Ritmo which if we have it on full speed trips it out. Speed 9 is right for Pral.M and I would imagine that many would think our gear is quite wet. We never 1 coat anything.

We are down to speed 8 at the moment running Parex Mono Blanco through it. Sprays sweet :0)

Its all about the amps man....

I all ways run the ritmo l on 10 the only time I slow it down is washing it out or doing roughcast. I will be doing site mix again soon might have to slow it down for that as the amps where high the last day we where playing with it.
