Hello everyone. Is PFT Swing L any good for sand cement plastering? If so how durable their stator and rotors? After how many tonns of sand and cement plactering i will need to change them?

What is the best compact machine for sand cement plasterings?

Thank you .

For sand and cement done efficiently your going to be looking at screed pumps of the like of uniform v2 about 18k or a smaller conveyor that you can batch.
A swing isn't the pump for the job but it will pump mortar mixed sloppy for tyro texture.

Blones has done a video of the Ritmo spraying sand and cement but again if you are looking at doing job after job efficiently then the big diesel machines are the only way.

Just depends if you have the dish. Second hand they go for 11k ish

if you have a pumpable site mix the 230v swing L will convey it, you will need a compressor to blow it on the wall. Lots of plasterers have sand and cement site mix in mind when they first think of spraying, but truth is that pre bagged materials although dearer than site mix offer a better solution to the rendering or plastering by being better quality and 1 coat applications. with that in mind a mixing pump will be a better option

Thank you for your replay.Yes i know Vario or diesel machines are best but they r over my budjet.I m looking for something smaller and cheaper which could use sand cement mixture.

Hello.Thank you for your replay. In my country people mostly use sand and cement mixture as thats the cheapest way.If my machine cannot work with sand+ cement mixture then I will not get enough job.Could you please tell me if I use PFT Swing L with compressor on sand and cement for plastering then how often will i have to replace the parts?Which are the most replace needing parts and how long or after how many Tonns of sand cement pumping i will have to replace stator and rotor?Which Rotor and stators are best for sand and and cement mixture?I would be very appreciated if you could give answer my questions.
Thank you.

What is your budget and where are u from?

I m from Azerbaijan and i can only spend around 7- 8 thousand euro.the price of Swing is good but i need to know how much i will have spent on the parts regularly.normally how many tonns pump these sataators and rotors.Do you have any idea?

I would use a d4-2 clampable rotor/stator pump for best results. expect to change it every 15 -20 tons at first. It will depend on the quality of your site mix, how much material hose you use and how much experience you have. you will get better results as time gets on and your experience teaches you better practices.
If the material is pumpable the swing L will pump it.

Where is azerbaijan ?? how far is it from LLanelli ?

justa ordinary sea sand and cement.what could be the problem with pumping it? i saw some videos where swing L pumps such sand cement mixture but dont know how practical it is.If Swing l pumps it will the compressor spray it as i need it?I dont have much experience with machines.only hand works.
very far from Wales.my county is in eastern europe.

It depends on how washed the sand is and what it is blended like. The material cannot bleed water when transporting. i.e if it was conveyed along a pipe and bled water the material would become dean and block up the pipe. You can test this material by a couple of methods,
1 squeeze the mix through a clenched fist, if a ball of compacted sand remains the mix wont pump
2 leave a mix in a bucket for 15 mins if water comes to the top, the mix is not pumpable.

You can by superplasticisers which help make a material flowable.
The swing L will convey the mix to the end of the pipe, the material exits a gun which will have a spray cap about 12mm. the air is sent along a pipe that runs with the material pipe. it exits via a air tube just behind the spray cap in the gun. The air assists the material in projecting it on a wall. You can use the air on and off switch to control the machine coming on and off

Having a swing 230 I would suggest the guy only consider the 400v version I see it has a 4/5kw motor and will obviously pump further.

This guy wants output judging by his posts so surely the slow speed and the constant batching of the swing 230v would be anti productive ?

I never knew the 400v version existed a big Genny on that will work a treat but are they a lot more to buy then mine blones ?

I thought the bigger conveyors were those z3 things.?

so how much are the d4-2 clampable rotor/stator pump then? just wanted to know as also interested in the true cost of buying and running these machines

Hi I'm new to this site. just been reading through this discussion, I'm looking at pumping traditional sand + cement render but looking for something which will take a bit of a pounding?
What machines would you recommend??? And being cost effective... Been looking at Putzmeister SP11 DMB. Any you boys know if this would be up to the job? Or can recommend anything else??

Any help would be much appreciated

cheers
Tom

dont bother Tom. Every plasterer starts off wanting to pump site mix, you will need the right sand or end up putting lots of lime in it. At the beginning you will be all enthustiastic and then you will lose interest because of all the faffing about.
Use materials that are available everywhere and pre mixed in bags and use a mixing pump. if its a small job use sand cement and put it on by hand.
