Hi,

Im willing to help out for the day in return for lesson in overboarding a ceiling for DIY purposes.
Im local to bexleyheath and dartford area.

Not surprised I havent had any replys!! Plasterers aint known for their generosity! its all take and take with you lot

Put board on your head and screw to ceiling simples

Or get a plasterer in tight sod

Just rip the ceiling down, I have been told a few horror stories lately as when over boarding you are adding extra weight to your joist which could cause other probs, I have done loads of over boards but I have talked with a structual engineer and was told they would not recomend it, aparentley it put extra stresses in other areas for the sake of a bit of mess it seems worth it for peace of mind. And its alot easier to board with joist showing.
