Mono Don
Tried some b nq ones other day and decided against em after 20 seconds . Just didn't feel safe . Are the mt ones any better. Just felt like I had no bend in my legs.
A pic of my mk 1 kingspan stilts from a few weeks back . Don't last to long

@John j my sister is an orthotist , she would likely perscribe greater support and would offer range of finishes including a superman pattern, you should probably go into business!

She works for a company in specialising in children and she makes back braces, leg braces, insoles etc to help children walk or with pain relief amongst other things. It's funny because she spends a lot of time casting plaster and we have all the same small tools. My dad was baffled by us, totally different jobs but he said "what's with all the plaster girls?"

An orthotist is the primary medical clinician responsible for the prescription, manufacture and management of orthoses. An orthosis may be used to: Control, guide, limit and/or immobilize an extremity, joint or body segment for a particular reason. To restrict movement in a given direction.

Those kingspan stilts look so comfy to use that i just flogged my old faithfuls on gum tree for 20quid to get some !

durastilts are the best from what I have read and heard (dont use them myself though)

I've been using them for years and the double pole really helps with stability when you max them out to do 10' ceilings. Can go all day with no back pain on these if you adjust them right. I never want to use anyone else's stilts. I just wish they made a version of the 48" - 64" ones. Have to use single sided for that height and not nearly as comfortable.

You can get a double sided stilt that goes to 64
 
I wouldn't be using anything for $160 to stand on 64 inch off the ground.

would you buy a ragni trowel for finishing....i've had durastilts for 20/25 years and only had to replace the calf straps for Velcro . i remember paying ( with a cheque)£320 from south leeds building supplies getting home putting em on and sitting on our kitchen worktop thinking what the f@ck have I bought here. while her indoors is screaming at me shouting "you cant even F*****g stand up on them so how the hell can you plaster a ceiling with em , you've just wasted our money"....she hath no faith.....dumb b:tch....who's smirking now
