Spraying rend aid

I got a house to do thinking to rendaid first coat spraying in with a hopper and then k1 spray over the top as the guys want k rend can I do this as to trowel on hp12 it would take longer an slightly more expensive?

Rendaid is a weber product if your giving any sort of guarantee I would stick to the same company system base coat hpx or hp12 for krend Rendaid is like an sbr slurry in a bag for a key and is a bit more dear than hp12

Just thought I can spray it in would be quicker and wouldn't have to get he trowel out rend aid is meant to be good stuff though it's going over old existing sand and cement. ?

Would I also use less rendaid than hp12 as rendaid only need s athickness of 3-6 mm when hp12 will need at least 8-12mm? Cheers mate

you didn't really say what you were going over in your thread yes it would be ideal for that mate

you can get hp12 on quite tight mate but not as tight as Rendaid you might get 5 Mtrs out a bag of Rendaid if you get it on tight

I've never sprayed it on pal you might be best with one of the machine lads @owls or@rigsby @clemo just a few I only hand apply mate

No probs if your putting mono over Rendaid I normally scratch and not stipple it can end up quite deep otherwise

Maybe look at R-7 onto the sand and cement or even R-10,, just call Krend they will tell you

Does it work same as rend aid as in I can spray it out of the hopper? Or is it a primer similar to the primer you use for tc15 ? Cheers mate

I've posted of pic the house I'm doing I will be needle gun the brick area with flakey painted but all existing areas are sound normally I'd hp12 then mesh scratch and k1 two passes but I'm looking for a alternative instead of using all them bags on base coat? Thank you

parinter would go nice over that pinned aswell

Going to use parinter never used it going to spray that on as a backing coat then dot beads up on top of parinter and k1 it thanks mate

I sprayed Kilsarens Rendaid equivalent with no problems. Sprayed Parinter and that was straight forward..

Rendaid coverage isn't great when scratch combed I'd say 2.5m2 per bag.

I did. Roughcast with the ritmo. @PFTwales told me the settings. It's was my first roughcast job with the ritmo. Iv done plenty more since.
