Got me thinking today
On a particular job—- roof needs work ,strip off /re roof ect … but
Customer got 3 roofers round all quotes in his inbox within a day / either they got fux all on -. or pretty organised .
Usually you have to beg me for my price …

Most firms these days have more people in the office than actually do the job all
sitting on their arses waiting for the phone call!

If I know that the work is going out to contract I dont bother to quote. What I do like is when the owner of the property asks me if I would accept a commission? always a winner that one!

Same here. Got a regular set of house builders that pretty much keep us going year round.
